FAQs

Will you try to turn me vegan?

Of course not! My goal isn’t to label your diet but to equip you with the best nutrition information on plant-based foods and how they can benefit your health. We’ll start wherever you are and make changes at your own pace, focusing on what works best for you.

Do I really have to eat vegetables and give up my junk food?

Sometimes, for your health, you need to stay away from foods that hurt you. Veggies are key to helping you feel your best. They provide the nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants that your body needs to stay healthy, energized, and support your long-term goals. Once you get where you need to be, try limiting or crowding out processed foods by adding more nutritious, delicious plant-based options to your meals. The more you fill your plate with satisfying whole foods, the less room you’ll have for nutrient-poor foods. It's all about balance and making healthier choices more often, not perfection.

Can I still go out to eat at a restaurant?

Yes! I will help you find healthier options at your favorite restaurants!

vegetables don’t taste as good as cheeseburgers - how are you going to fix that?

That's a common concern, but the great news is that plant-based meals can be just as flavorful and satisfying as your favorite cheeseburger! It’s all about using the right ingredients and preparation methods. Your taste buds evolve over time—so the more you explore plant-based meals, the more you'll crave those flavors."

how are you going to hold me accountable?

Accountability is a two-way street! As your coach, I’ll be here to guide, encourage, and check in with you regularly. We’ll set realistic goals together and break them down into manageable steps. I’ll track your progress, provide feedback, and help you troubleshoot any challenges that come up. But most importantly, I’ll empower you to take ownership of your journey. You’ll have the tools and strategies you need, and I’ll be your support system to keep you motivated and on track. We’re in this together!

Is plant-based eating expensive?

It doesn’t have to be! While some specialty plant-based products can be pricey, many whole plant foods like beans, lentils, rice, oats, and seasonal vegetables are actually very affordable—often more budget-friendly than meat and processed foods. Shopping smart, such as buying in bulk, choosing frozen veggies, and planning your meals around what’s on sale or in season, can keep costs down. You don't need fancy ingredients to eat healthy on a plant-based diet. It’s all about balance and making the most of simple, nutrient-dense foods.
